ENGLISH I

Hello Parents and Students the next novel we will be reading is Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. This book and the assignments that go along with it will be assigned over The Christmas Holiday Break. The assigmnets will be due when we return to school on January 4, 2010. They will uploaded here on the blog prior to the vacation. Parents we have a lot of work to do so lets focus and buckle down for the rest of the Semester I know you can do it.

Please be sure to read chapters 1-10 of Gifted Hands by Ben Carson. The test will be Friday October 16, 2009. If you have not completed the study guide please do it promptly. Friday is the last day to  turn this assignment in.

All Students will receive the study guide for Gifted Hands. This study guide will be due when you return from Fall Break. We will engage in a class discussion to talk about the events that took place in the book. there will also be a short quiz following the class discussion. If you have not gotten the book please do so. You really need it. We will also have a guess speaker once we complete the book.
